Lauren is a senior at Duke University pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Global Health. In elementary school, Lauren’s family lived in Asia for several years. Traveling to over 20 countries during that time, she encountered opulent wealth and extreme poverty. God used these interactions to give her a heart for serving vulnerable populations globally - desiring his glory and his image bearers’ good. Lauren has experience working with both large and small nonprofits spanning a range of focuses, from youth sports mentorship to justice system strengthening to community-based cancer patient support. In addition to her classes and work, Lauren loves long-distance running, cheering on Duke sports, and reading mystery novels!
