O U R C O R E V A L U E S

In all things we do, we seek to embody the following values.

grace

not guilt

abundance

not scarcity

thoughtfulness

not naivety

not passivity

zeal

These are our core values because helping others is most…

joyful

when we are motivated by grace, not guilt.

sustainable

when we start with abundance, not scarcity.

effective

when we are thoughtful, not naive.

transformative

when we are zealous, not passive.

Here’s how it all started.

Simple Charity began as a high school club that raised over $60,000 to fight global poverty in Jesus’s Name in 2014. The next year, we learned that half of those funds went to a charity that may have misused the money. We spent the next ten years researching giving opportunities that promote human flourishing to the glory of God.

We now support over 40 college chapters around the country that grow in their faith and in solidarity with people experiencing poverty and injustice. We also offer philanthropic advising for people giving $10k - $1M+ per year.
