Kristen Hayes
Advisory Board Member
Kristen is excited to help fellow Christians follow God's call to care for what the world sees as the "least of these" in a way that uplifts their dignity and recognizes them as fellow image bearers of God. Her work specializes in using systems thinking to address injustice such as poverty, access to healthcare, and equitable education. At the Center for Community Resilience, she works with communities across the country to locally identify root causes of adversity and plan for community-driven policy, program, and practice change that creates fertile environments for children and families to thrive. Before working with CCR, Kristen created educational resources and trainings to help young people and the adults in their lives learn practices to support their mental health. Kristen's desire to change environments and systems stems from her time as a teacher, and the education space still holds a special place in her heart. Kristen holds an MA in Developmental Psychology and BA in Education.
